Creating a modern, centralised education portal for public schools across Northern Ireland

During 2023 I worked on the Education Information Solutions (EdIS) project for the Northern Ireland Education Authority which aimed to transform their current legacy portal solution with a modern and centralised responsive web solution that was aimed at pupils, teachers and administrators.

Results

We showcased and presented a user experience across all user types with personalisation and accessibility built in. The teacher dashboard shows reports, attedance and tailored content in near real-time, and the student views provided a learning platform that was adaptable to each year range at the schools.

I performed a leadership and strategy role within this project and planned out the UX delivery approach for this project, as well as worked with other members of the design team to create the showcase.
